Client story - Never take anything for granted! The Go-box+ found an unexpected market in France thanks to Accessolutions

Over a year ago at the SightCity trade show, we met with Bruno Smitt from Accessolutions (FR). He was quite interested in the Go-box, believing that even in a country where foreign language programs and films are typically dubbed, our magnifying and voice-over solution for tv-subtitles could find a niche audience.


From skeptical to shortlisted @ Silmo

We were initially skeptical, doubting the Go-box would be relevant in markets where content is already translated. But thanks to Accessolutions triggering us to reconsider, we changed our mindset. We decided to offer the Go-box+ in French and began introducing it to the French market this past October. At the Slimo exhibition, the Go-box+ was shortlisted as an innovative product for the visually challenged.

Go-box+ adapts to changing habits

Soon, the Go-box+ will also be available in Belgium, where consumers will be able to choose between Dutch or French language support. It's fascinating to see how market dynamics can shift perceptions about a product's viability in different regions. The evolution of viewing habits, especially with the rise of on-demand services and multilingual programming, indeed underscores the importance of adaptive solutions like the Go-box+.


The Go-box+ represents a significant opportunity to cater to a wide range of customers, including those with visual and hearing impairments.
